What is a Friend of SCC?
Friends of Southside Community Connections, through advocacy and support, help to ensure the ongoing operations of our programs, activities, events and services so that SCC continues to be a community resource.
Why become a Friend of SCC?
As a Friend of SCC, your donation of $20.00 per year, for you and your spouse or partner, will help us continue to offer quality programs such as Village on the Hill which offers services for those who wish to live independently as they age; Wheels, which provides free transportation to health care appointments and local services and The Little House which provides a safe, clean environment for adults to pursue interests, learn new things, spend quality time with each other and to have fun.
What you’ll receive as a Friend of SCC
- Enjoy the diversity of programs and activities which SCC offers at The Little House. NOTE: Certain programs and activities charge a fee which is determined by the program instructor. Class Fees are payable directly to the instructor
- Access to our Life Long Learning series library materials
- Monthly calendar full of activities, programs and events
- Quarterly newsletter filled with fun and useful information
- Invitation to a Friends of SCC only event as our guest
- Your name will be listed in our quarterly newsletter as a Friend of SCC
